To edit and/or create a broadcast via the Notification Center page, follow the steps the below:
1. Select the red 'hamburger' menu displayed in the top left of the screen
2. Select the 'Notification Center' drop down menu
2. Select the ‘Notification Center’ drop down menu.
3. Select 'Broadcasts'
Notable Changes and Improvements
- Improved user interface to create a better user experience overall
- Added Functionalities
- Broadcasts can be scheduled to be sent on a future date
- The option to have broadcasts sent on an automated, recurring schedule - this includes either weekly (no limit on how many recurring days) or monthly (selection of the date on which to be sent)
- New Broadcast Types
- General Notification - General notifications are not sent immediately, but are rather included in a daily digest sent on a daily basis to the receiving eModal user types
- Emergency Broadcasts - Broadcasts that are sent immediately to the selected eModal user types
- Please note that Emergency Broadcasts cannot be scheduled nor recur automatically
Broadcast Notification Center Screen
To edit an existing broadcast, select the blue hyperlink displayed in the 'Message' column for the desired broadcast
To create a new broadcast, select the 'New Broadcast' button located on the top of the screen.
Please note that if a broadcast is currently set up with a recurring schedule, then the Broadcast status column will display such schedule once the cursor is hovered over the arrow icon to the right of the work 'Scheduled.'

Scheduling a Future General Notification Send Date
To schedule a General Notification to be sent on a future date, select the calendar icon next to the 'Send On' section. Then, select the desired date.
Scheduling a Recurring General Notification
In addition to the enhancement of scheduling broadcasts to be sent on a future date, these can also be set up to be sent on a recurring basis. To create a recurring broadcast, select the 'Make Recurring' check box. A pop-up window will be displayed:
Broadcasts can be configured to recur on a weekly or monthly basis.
